The Tarot Guild

Tarot for the 21st Century!

By all of us taking time to post and reply to comments, blogs, discussions, etc., we are all contributing good content and feedback that will add to the value of this site.  I love the classes and the option of downloading them and listening at my convenience; to me this alone is worth my subscription fee. Having my own page w/ URL and Email is an added bonus too.  Once the Tarot Pros Reading Room is set up for all those who subscribe that would like to offer readings, this too will add to the capability of the site to keep subscription fees low while at the same time, enabling subscribers to offset the cost of their subscriptions.

I'm looking forward to the success of this site and network. I want it to be a place where I can learn, share, and grow.  Let's all work together to build the best tarot network in the world.

Can you hear me clapping my hands? This is a wonderful post!
Thanks. :-D
I agree.
OMG! Thanks so much for a wonderful post. I hope other members will take that to heart! This is a member-driven site that only has value and content because of our members' contributions. This is also YOUR Tarot Portal and organization. We are always looking for new ways to improve the experience of our members. If you have any questions, concerns, comments, etc. don't hesitate to contact us! Your suggestions and questions may contribute to a better experience for all TG members!

Also, thank you Maria for bringing up the subscription. We have heard several comments like yours. Members are amazed we don't charge to join the TG and can keep the subscriptions we DO have so low. This is because we have, from the beginning wanted to offer the Tarot Community at large truly affordable services and instruction. Those of us that created the TG and operate it on a daily basis are also NOT greedy people! We believe in the universal maxims of giving and "flow". Flow means you have to allow abundance to continuously "flow" in order to build. If you horde, you stop the flow, and actually slow down the building of your own abundance. This is because you are adopting a "poverty consciousness" by doing this.

As you also said, once we launch the TarotPros network (the FIRST readers network FOR Tarot Readers BY Tarot Readers) this will actually change the whole dynamic at the TG. Not only will it serve to keep the subscriptions low, but it may in fact eliminate them all together!

As you know, our readers network TarotPros will have the highest payout to Advisors in the industry. The goal is to be both Client and Advisor friendly. That's also why all readings are purchased by the reading, not by the minute. I'm going to reveal something now that has never been heard outside of our staff meetings. It's our goal to have the readers network TarotPros actually pay for the entire functioning of the TG and eliminate any member-paid fees!

This will be of course dependent entirely on the "community" participation you mentioned Maria and if our Advisors truly "partner" with us to grow TarotPros.com. This won't happen over-night. It will take a lot of promotion on all of our parts. The idea is to come together as a professional community and everyone chip in, like a Co-Op, to support each other and grow our network and individual businesses.

We will be focusing heavily on TarotPros in the coming days and weeks. We hope to launch soon, re-vamped.

This has been the goal since we took the TG international and is being revealed here for the first time. We want to be able to provide Tarot education and professional services FREE to our members.

Will you all partner with us to make this happen???
I think this is awesome Dax! I'm definitely on board. It did cross my mind that once TarotPros is up and running, that the fees it brought in would help to keep the subscription costs low; however, I hadn't thought of the possibility of it eliminating the cost altogether. This should really help to encourage people to participate as much as possible.

I appreciate your enthusiasm and great ideas. I know that you had been offering the incentive of a goody bag for the member who was able to bring in the most subscribers. Here's another idea: How about offering an incentive like perhaps an autographed copy of a book or deck to the member who is the most active on the TG each month? I would think that there must be a way to monitor the overall activity of members.

Just something to consider...
Another fabulous idea Maria! We definitely need some great ideas like that one to help encourage our members to participate! The staff is so busy with the actual nuts-and-bolts operation that many times we don't come up with these kind of ideas. It's great to have the feed-back of our highly creative members to help us. Also, even though we have come up with many great ideas and amazing features here on the TG site, we can't think of everything, so if anyone has ideas for features or content, or anything that will help make the TG experience better for our members and the BEST in the world of Tarot, let us know!!
Thanks Dax. I won't hesitate to share any ideas I may have as long as I know you welcome it.
Hi Maria, First of all ...Welcome to the Guild. I fully agree with you, the site is so user friendly and it is also a fab place to to say anything about tarot. Warmest Regards David. (Blog/Forum Moderator).
