Death card in my dream.
In my dream, I saw the skeleton from the Death card wearing its back cloak and walking with a scythe and dragging the King of Swords by the scruff of his neck and taking him to the Hierophant. Can anyone tell me what this means?

Thanks for taking the time to meditate and respond. I have been meaning to respond to your post earlier, but needed some time to form my thoughts in conjunction with yours or separate from them. Both your interpretations make sense. However, I want to subscribe to the latter one. I am certainly the stubborn and egotistical King of Swords and I really have been thrust into changing circumstances out of my control. I experienced a jarring change in my personal as well as professional life. But, I am still unsettled about the Hierophant. Sometimes I think it may have been the Judge from the Justice card, sometimes it's just not clear in dreams. But, if I had to put my name to it, I would say it was the Hierophant. The only thing I can say is I had taken a non-traditional path before in my personal as well as professional life and now I have been forced by change to go back to the traditional ones.
Then again, like you said, I may just have had too much ice cream :)
