Tarot for the 21st Century!

I posted a review of the Shadowscapes Tarot recently to my blog.  It's a lovely deck but sadly Llewellyn missed the mark big time with it by making the cards way too small for such beautiful, intricate and detailed artwork.  And while Barbara Moore's writing in the companion book is also lovely, it isn't going to be of much help to new tarot readers looking for help in learning and interpreting the cards.

Check out my review on my blog:

I have to totally agree. The artwork is so beautiful and you wouldnt know it by looking at the cards. I bought her self published book that has all the majors in it. It is amazing. The book was not cheap and a splurge for me but I am so glad I bought it. She also personalized a drawing before mailing for a nice touch. So of course I could not wait for the cards, but I was really bummed with the publisher. My wish is she would self publish her cards in a bigger format. That is a huge expense so I doubt that will happen. Oh well, I am not sorry I purchased the cards but I am baffled as to why they would publish them so small.
this is a beautiful deck and I followed some of her blog while she was working on it.  too bad Llewellyn's deck quality has gone downhill.  i can't tell you how many bad reviews of Llewellyn decks i've seen lately...too many! you'd think Llewellyn would get the hint and at least offer "premium" decks for those willing to pay a little more for quality cards.
