@ Sherry Amature - I own the Angel Tarot Cards and a number of other oracle decks. Messages From Your Angels is not one of the oracle decks I own; however, from my experience with other oracle decks by Doreen Virtue, like The Archangels Oracle Deck, it can be used in a similar way.
The Angel Tarot Cards are a full deck of 78 cards based on the Rider-Waite Tarot, but without some of the darker imagery that you will find on some of the cards. This deck is still intended to be used as you would any other tarot deck. The oracle decks read differently and contain less cards - usually about 44. I use them to compliment and/or summarize a tarot reading with specific spiritual guidance for whatever issues that the tarot reading brought to light.
The decks can both be used separately too, so it is not necessary to use both. Either way, you should follow your own intuition. My opinion however is, that if you feel drawn to both, then use both. I think you will be pleased by the results.
