hi - thanks for the invite to join this group ! Ya know, the card that really stands out for me is Patrick's haunting ACE OF WANDS......it actually took me about five seconds to realiSe that in this card HE HAS DONE A CLASSICAL MADONNA AND CHILD..........but with such an original, Earth mother-twist....... from Her head we see trees growing/ also, She seems to have THREE ARMS- THIS IS WHAT I ADMIRE ABOUT HIS ARTWORK- YOU NOTICE THIS, THEN, TEN SECONDS LATER, SOMETHING ELSE...... THEN A MINUTE AFTER THAT..... SOMETHING ELSE AGAIN !!

the 4 of wands - i can see an influence of Hieronymous Bosch......at work here !! and,now that I think of it..... all the way through !!

It's a great deck! I have the 1st ed US Games edition and also the more recently released signed Chinese print edition which has a gorgeous smooth matt finish and is available directly from Patrick

I'm not sure what you mean...we just do one card at a time and post what we think :) you will get an email when someone posts something new but, everything is on the pages in the group. Hope that was helpful?

Ive been looking at the 10 of coins- the two people busy playing their chess game, while in the background their factories churn out products and generate their wealth for them..... underneath the chess board- in fact, upholding the entire game being played- is the slave, with a large piece in his hands- signifying that if he were ever to get up and play HIS piece, the entire game would be over- !! a very wry comment on our socio economic apparatus.... !!
