Strange number question... Significance of 111?  Today some guy at work was talking about how if anyone adds the last two numbers of their birth year to the age they will be this year on their birthday it will add up to 111.  Everyone at the table tried it.  And it did.  Does anyone know why this happens?  What does it mean?

I tried to look it up online and all I found were a lot of historical and biblical references to 111 and people claiming to see the number everywhere...strange...

Susan, Tarot, symbology and numerology are all huge subjects and you can...and if you are serious...will spend a lot of time researching. When I first started, I got a couple of women in my community who wanted to get together and study Tarot. I learned a lot this way and had fun too. Then I found myself a professional mentor (Christine Payne Towler) who was 60 miles from me. I payed for sessions once or twice a month. This helped me balance the mental and emotional aspects and learn the cards from the inside out. I was going through a mid-life crisis at the time and that also helped give me strong incentive to uncover my own stuff. Not saying that you should follow this exactly but just to give you some ideas. Find others to play with. Best,Toni

Thanks for your comments. I did take a look at Anna's website and was amazed by all of the information there. I know that this is off the subject but I was wondering if any of you have some advice for me. There is so much information out there about Tarot that recently I have found that I am spending more time researching than I am with my cards. How do you strick a balanced approach. If this question should be posted on a different discussion board please let me know.

Thanks.
