Barbara Moore

Barbara Moore is a Tarot legend! She has served as the tarot specialist for Llewellyn Publications, the world's foremost Tarot publishing company. Over the years, she has been active in the American Tarot Association and has spoken at tarot conferences around the United States. Barbara’s articles on the tarot have appeared in several tarot publications and in Llewellyn Publications New Worlds of Mind and Spirit magazine. Barbara enjoys the challenge of giving a voice to tarot cards and oracle decks.  She has had the good fortune to write books for several decks, including A Guide to Mystic Faerie Tarot, The Gilded Tarot Companion, The Hip Witch Tarot, Enchanted Oracle and The Mystic Dreamer Tarot.

This year, for TABI, Barbara provides 2 keynote workshops - The Fool's Journey (Sat) and Creating and Using Tarot Spreads (Sunday)

Paul Hughes Barlow

Emily Carding

Emily Carding is a self-taught artist and author, as well as a Priestess, lyricist, actor, singer and mother! Her inspiration comes from the vibrant mythology of all cultures and the reality of magick and the Otherworld. It is for this reason that she considers herself not a fantasy artist, but a visionary artist, for her art is sourced from the truth and beauty of the inner realms.

Emily is becoming most well known for her tarot work, having now created three Tarot decks, with an Oracle deck on its way! These include the groundbreaking Transparent Tarot and the forthcoming Tarot of the Sidhe, a channeled work, which is currently available as a majors only collector's edition.

She has recently finished working on The Transparent Oracle, also for Schiffer Books. A circular transparent deck inspired by the seven directions and the intricate interconnectivity of the universe and otherworld, it is designed to form mandala-type images when read in layers! The Transparent Oracle and accompanying book will be released in the spring of 2010 and is available to pre-order now.

Emily's workshop will focus on using the Transparent Oracle and the Transparent Tarot - but don't worry if you don't own a copy, there will be cards to share!

Mick Frankel

Mick is a hugely popular Tarot teacher in the Manchester area and his workshops are often sell-out affairs.  An informative and engaging teacher, Mick specialised in the I-Ching, Astrology and Tarot.

This year he has devised a brand new course - based on the Hebrew associations used with the Tarot cards in some systems.  Together in his 2010 TABI Conference workshop, we'll explore these links!
