I am the Mother of 4 beautiful children ranging from ages 8-23. I am an eclectic Witch, Reiki Master and Magnetic Healer. I have been reading the tarot since 1999 and it has brought me down a life changing spiritual path. Which has lead me to want to share this gift with others. My spirituality is extremely important to me and I seek to assist people in their own personal spiritual path and growth.. I want to incorporate all my learned knowledge and the tarot to assist others in their life paths.

Comment by Denise Hoitt on May 24, 2012 at 6:58am Card of the Day Queen of Pentacles: The book with my deck describes her as a warm generous woman who has the seekers best interest at heart. She has no fear of hard work, and is intelligent and thoughtful. For me she also is a remider to take time out in life and re-connect with the self. To look at your abundance and hold gratitude for what YOU have in your life. To hold joy and look towards the future and see what more is going to come your way. That it will multiply like rabbits do and to appreciate and validate that YOU created your abundance. It is also a time to spread your happiness and prosperity. Share your wealth and give back. Either with monetary gifts of appreciation, or sharing your wealth of wisdom and thoughtfulness.
Comment by Denise Hoitt on May 23, 2012 at 5:18am Card of the Day is the 6 of Swords: A journey across water, or a journey delayed. Not a physical journey of the body, but one of the mind. If we consider the element of water, it reperesents emotion and swords as a representation of an action needed to be taken or already taken. Put the two together and we have a journey of the conscious mind. When we find ourselves in a difficult situation what do we do? We often listen to our own personal "Jiminy Cricket". It tells us to move forward and use our higher consciousness to find an understanding and move through the difficult time or situation. Often our "Jiminy Cricket" is guided by our higher spiritual selves and always sees the light that guides us to shore safely.
Comment by Denise Hoitt on May 22, 2012 at 5:16am Card of the Day King of Cups: For me this card represents a strong quiet and deep male energy. A person or energies that the querent may have or needs to have in his or her life. The King of Cups reperesents the quiet "Power" within that keeps us balanced through the rough seas of emotions we sometimes expereience in life. He rides the rough waves of emotions steadfastly with compassion, love and a knowing understanding of the source. He is able to balance the need of expressing and feeling the emotions with out halting the path or lessons that must be taken to get through the trying times of life. Do you have a King of Cups you lean on int such times? Or do you need to find within yourself your King of Cups to help yourself or another?
Comment by Denise Hoitt on May 19, 2012 at 8:14am Card of the day is the 6 of Pentacles: Is all about gratification. How do we recieve it or give it? Do you hold gratitude for what you recieve in life. Do you give to much? Dont give enough? Are those you are giving to worthy? When you give, what are your motivations and intent for doing so? As in all things in life a balance must occur and motivation or intent should be clean when giving. Giving to much of oneself can also unbalance us and drain us. Not just in our time, energy or wallet, but emotionally as well. When the 6 of Pentacles shows up it may be time to ask your self these questions and examine how and where you find gratitude in your life.
Comment by Denise Hoitt on May 19, 2012 at 7:51am Thursday I posted the card of the day as the 9 of Cups when in fact it was the 9 of Wands. Dont know what happened with the translation between my mind and fingers. Sorry for the mix up.

Comment by Denise Hoitt on May 19, 2012 at 6:48am Last night I went to my friend Meaghan MacDonald's house for her birthday. What a wonderful evening I had. It wasn't planned, but I ended up doing readings for all her family and friends. I want to say thank you to everyone for allowing me to read for you. It was the first time I have read for a group of people who were all related. As a reader it was a wonderful learning experience with so many beautiful people. The energy was amazing. Thank you Meaghan for the gift you gave me on your birthday. :) <3
Comment by Denise Hoitt on May 17, 2012 at 5:57am Card for the day 9 of Cups: With the fore knowledge of Venus retrograde what difficulties, changes and new challenges are you waiting for or anticipating? What hidden battles and foes are lurking in the subconscious of your mind. Patterns and stories we tell outselves that no longer serve us and need to be re-worked and re-framed. When you feel most battle weary, it is ok to just take a break and looking at what you have accomplished. The tiny seeds now buds growing and taking root are a great reminder to show you how far you have come and where you want to go.
Comment by Denise Hoitt on May 16, 2012 at 7:48am The Devil: Base desires that keep one trapped or stuck and unable to break the chains or cycle in ones life. Old stories that we tell ourselves that harm us. During this Venus retrograde what is it that you need to look at and let go of to break the chains that keep you from moving forward into your light?
