Hi I'm Remi Daily,

The study of the Tarot happened for me when looking for a freelancing writing gig. Weary and scared from the negative projections of Tarot, my first deck was Kat Black's Golden Tarot because the images were very traditional and are a very beautiful reflection of Renaissance and Medieval times. From there, I have collected over 40 Tarot and Oracle decks of which I use to do readings from. Collecting as many decks has been a spring board to my personal website "The Tarot Tributary", of which I share the opportunity to discuss and review decks with some of today's hottest deck creators and luminaries.

Seeing how a simple stack of cards evolved into the role of philosopher, psychologist, and guide of the human condition when used, my initial weariness about the Tarot subsided and I hope to share the positive elements of Tarot with others in their personal readings with me.

Laminating your personal decks...

Has anyone laminated their decks? I want to laminate one of mine because I love the deck so much

but it doesn't hand wear and tear well. I bought a replacement deck and want to laminate it.

Anyone with advice and experience?

I love the Anubis Oracle as it displays the Khem Neteru (Egyptian Gods) in a beauty and meaningful way.
It is not hard to read when you are acquainted with that Mythology and Gods, and as most cards are well related with the egyptian equivalents of the Tarot Archetypes, it is a pleasure to make certain kind of readings, specially related to transcendental matters, as you properly said.
The more you read on that mythology, the easier it comes to feel the cards and their most inner and upper meanings .
Then the first requirement is to love that very symbology to be able to grasp from it, as happens in any other Tarot.

The same is for your marvelous favorite: "The Inner Child Tarot". The more you love those Fairy Tales, the greater their appeal, the better you understand them when in a spread.
As C. G. Jung may have said on that Tarot: "is really well suited for dream interpretation".

The best way for choosing a Tarot is to look for those that display the kind of simbols we already love.

My favorite Tarot is the "Alchemical Tarot: Renewed", by Robert Place. But I`m not ready for reading it yet ...
