"Hi Shirley, Welcome to The Tarot Guild! Medieval re-enactor...that's very interesting. Glad to have you here. I teach using the Waite/Smith deck. I've taken to giving readings using the Legacy of The Divine Tarot by Ciro Marchetti of late."

I used only the Waite/Smith deck for years. I still teach from it because it is the most ubiquitous deck and has, from my perspective, the most rich symbolism. When I use other decks, I still find myself "translating" in my head to Waite/Smith, If you decide to use other decks, you might experience something similar.

I've been collecting some decks, because I like the artistry. I really like Ciro Marchetti's work. He designed the header for our website. I only recently acquired the Legacy of the Divine Tarot in December. I like using it with clients as it is more attractive of a deck for them to look at.

I book-marked your blog. Can't wait to explore. Also, here on your "MyPage" there is a "Text Box". In it you could post your bio and information about your blog, with a link to it. I was also going to suggest that you could re-post your blog postings here in the blog on your Tarot Guild page, either in their entirety or type in a few lines from your posts on your blog then link back to your main blog.

I'm trying to get our members more involved with the site this way and it helps a lot with content. This way other members also get to know you and your work easier.

I do love looking at decks and the beautiful designs that inspired people have created. I have a desire to own some othe decks and perhaps one day might read a different one... who knows??
thanks again, Shirley, and I have a blog -
