Why do I love Tarot?
Because Tarot is about stories. It's about creating a life where you walk with wanderers, magicians, and kings. Where you see the big, powerful themes of your life, and the small but poignant scenes that make up who you are. Where…

Today's Journey Tarot - Key 6 Union - The Lovers
The Lovers card is one of the most profoundly symbolic of the Major Arcana. Within its mystery is the key to one of the great philosophical truths of the Tarot – the union of body, mind, and spirit. The Rider/Waite/Smith deck shows the archangel, Raphael, illuminated by the sun and floating above two figures. The man and the woman each stand before a tree which represents aspects of the nature of their gender. This card is often used to express a romantic relationship between two people, as…

the Medieval Scapini Tarot
A dense and fascinating deck by Luigi Scapini, published by U.S. Games.
This deck combines the traditional trumps of the early Italian style tarot with the more modern system of illustrating the pips, all in incredibly detailed artwork. While this is a contemporary deck, one would think it had been delivered in a time machine from the renaissance! I personally find the trumps to be the real anchor in the deck.
The trumps all appear over an elaborate golden background and…

Daily Vibe - Sometimes you have to let the storm pass
Everybody knows I live in Florida - East Coast. I've dealt with hurricanes for 15 years now.
I can get crazy, drive some place in a hard rain.
I can act like I'm the only one that matters. What I say goes. I don't give a crap about YOU.
Or I can get out the clay, the books, the cards, whatever it will take to get me through the storms and enjoy Mother Nature's show......…

ANGELS CAN HELP US: Even in the Most Slippery Situations
It was getting near the end Sara’s shift at the laundromat. Since it was a rainy day, she had the additional task of mopping up the wet footprints left behind as customers entered and left the building. As the washers swished and the dryers hummed, Sara made her way up and down the aisle of buzzing machines. Sara glanced at the large clock that hung prominently over the entrance; it was 4:41 pm. She needed to hurry since…

Today has been such a productive day. Spent quite a bit of time studying a new Tarot book I received. It comes as a surprise to many that people who read cards really spend time continuing their educations. There is always something new to learn.
And as much as many would like to think that the Tarot is a magick bullet and has a miracle answer for every situation. The fact is it is just a tool. It is NOT a vehicle to turn our…

Today's Journey Tarot - Key 5 Tradition - The Hierophant
The Hierophant represents traditional, orthodox teachings. These teachings are known only to him and he decides when they can be shared. There is a lot of symbolism in the Rider/Waite/Smith version of this card. This symbolism can be daunting to a new student. The Hierophant himself has a symbolic gesture, a crown with a letter on the top, a scepter, and there are two crossed keys at his feet. He sits between two pillars – also decorated with symbols. The priests…

Kim O'Neill Speaks About her experiences with Angels
This is an interview with Kim O'Neill, who channels Angels. I have her paperback book How To Talk With Your Angels, which is a good book. This morning I was checking out Facebook and saw where someone had won a 30 minute reading with Kim. She offers this once a month, so I hopped over to her web site, signed up for the contest and saw she has a book called The Calling all about how she was disillusioned about her work, marriage and she wanted more out of life. This is her story on how her…
