Enviornmentalism as Religion

I'm flying to Atlanta the day after Earth Day and pick up an abused Wall Street Journal newspaper from the floor at the Dallas airport to pass my time on the flight.



Immediately, I spot an article, "Environmentalism as Religion" by Paul Rubin, an economics professor at Emory University. He writes that "we may be the first to build shrines to garbage." How true.
