Things ARE getting better - believe, trust, have faith...

8C, 2C, Judgement - The Judgement card is about waking up and being transformed.  This can be rough - rough on the psyche, rough on the emotions, even rough on the pocketbook.  But there is a gift - that gift is wisdom.  That gift could be the release of a karmic debt.  It's all good!

Take your abundance to work - bake cookies, brownies, or buy donuts.  People will love you for it.

8S, Lovers, KingW - No matter what has happened, we can make it worse with our behavior and thinking.  If we are not honest with ourselves about our responsibility in the situation, we can quickly tie ourselves and our lives in knots.  Be honest, what did you do? How did you react?  If you are sure that it is everyone else's fault, you are in denial.  Your actions and reactions are yours alone.  This is the kind of self-honesty that will dig you out of the situation.  Even if you have never…

Yes, you do have days where everything goes wrong.  Everyone does.  Don't let these days cause you to doubt your ability.  You have talent, you have worth.  You're just having a bad day.

10S, 3W, 3S - Something big ended in your life.  It might be a relationship, it might be a career - but it's over.  Even if you have other opportunities coming your way, you are still going to feel loss and will go through a grieving process.  Don't wonder why you are sad - you're grieving.  Yes, it is unpleasant; but when you understand what's going on, the emotions are easier to deal with.

Page W, Devil, Justice - Ah, the Devil card.  Nothing makes a new tarot client more nervous than that card (hey, you said this wasn't evil).  The thing that should be remembered about that card is that most people make their own Hell - through worry, addiction, lying, cheating, etc. - we get to a place where we can't be comfortable and then are stuck there.  The Devil card is a cry for help.  You can point that out to a client - but then they must take the next step and get that help.  The…

Remember, a lot of openings are not posted or are posted within a company.  Ask everyone "do you know anyone with an opening?"  You'll be amazed at what you find out.

6S, Wheel of Fortune, 9 Wands - The Rolling Stones told us "you can't get what you want, but you can get what you need."  This is a very honest way to look at life when things just aren't that good.  Focus on what you need.  Work on that.  You'll find that you start to have small victories that will leader to larger ones as the Wheel of Fortune starts to move in your favor.

Being in charge does not mean being nasty.  If you have to deal with someone like this, try to have some compassion if not right down pity for this person.  They probably don't have any real friends in the real world either.

4C, QS, 2P - Zen practitioners talk about "monkey mind," which is that condition where our minds fill with imagined chatter about whatever it can grab hold of.  Most of us live with this condition, and then wonder why we are so dissatisfied and frustrated with our lives.  You gotta grab the money and make him shut up!  At least realize that it is an imaginary monkey going on about imaginary stuff and most of it can be ignored.  This the key to living with balanced thinking about your…

Pay attention in meetings.  It really is important to take in what's going on.  What does the body language and tone of voice say about what's being said.  Half listening can get you in a lot of trouble.

EightS, KnightC, SevenS - One of the most common questions on Rowdy Readers (tomorrow afternoon) is OK, I don't know where this relationship is going.  It's usually said with a lot of doubt in the voice of the caller.  Realize that if you have that many doubts, it may be your intuition telling you to slow down.  Learn to listen to your intuition,  It can quickly save you a lot of heartbreak.

This card talks about making the right choice.  You can either complete the task in a cheap and sleazy manner, or you can do the best you can and be proud of the job.  Choose the second - it leads to passion about what you are trying to accomplish.

Temperance, KnightW, 6W - You need the idea, the resources to manifest the idea, and the people to support and spread the idea.  Too often the people involved in a process are seen as resources and not as individuals making it happen.  Always remember the people.  Make them the most important resource.  Don't be so hung up on the newest technology - it always become obsolete.  Loyal people grow with the idea and are there to move forward.

Take that feeling of victory to work - and thank the people around you for their help.  The day will go much smoother, and you will feel like a winner!

Star, PageC, KnightS - We all need hope.  It keeps up going, keeps us motivated.  Sometimes it seems as though things are going nowhere.  You wait and you wait.  Well, wait no more!  Sometimes you need to jump in, take that next action, say what's on your mind.  It's a way to un-stick the energy.
