5S, 8S, 10W - Heavy cards for heavy times. I'll be the first to say that the world can be overwhelming right now. The cards remind us today that if we truly have a heavy burden, we can reach out for help. Call/write someone if you feel overwhelmed. Make a list of all you have to do, and then cross out all the things that you don't have to do to keep food on the table and a roof over your head. Don't watch the news -- unless you are affected directly by what's going on (it can only amplify… Continue

Hermit, 6W, Devil - As a kid, we'd see a new toy and have to have it. Of course, in a lot of cases we quickly found out that the joy we'd seen in the commercial was because the kids were actors and they were getting money for smiling for the camera. In adult life we can do the same thing. Want THE job, want THE car, want THE relationship, only to find out that the job is boring or very high pressure, the car is expensive to maintain, and the other part of the relationship came with a matched… Continue

10W, AW, High Priestess - OK, so you decided that the job, the relationship, the car has to go. You are inspired to move in a new direction. If you have invested a lot of time or emotional energy in something, you may find all sorts of hidden road blocks as you start to move. This is to be expected. It takes time for thought to change direction. Just commit to making the change and watch what happens.

9P, 4W, 10C - Happy Monday -- no, really, happy Monday. This is a day to celebrate! Focus on what makes you feel safe, secure, and happy. If it's family and friends, this is a good day to write notes, text, are call and let them know what they mean to you. If you are proud of what you've accomplished, take yourself for a treat. You deserve it.

KnightS, KingW, Lovers - Humans seem to love to gossip. With all our communication devices, and that fact that social networks allow you to choose who to allow your "friends", gossip has probably hit a pandemic status. Add to that the fact that many, many people lead dreary lives, and the only way they can "spice it up" is to cause a scene. If you love a good drama, please consider a trip to the library, bookstore, or video rental outlet. Some of us prefer a good musical or comedy - any may not… Continue

KnightW, 10S, 4S - Wow, it really is time to let it go. Yesterday, we talked about adding positive energy to the planet to help the vibration. Today, the cards say let the negative go in a big way. We just past the beginning of spring. What you hang on to, you plant in your garden of thought. Today is the day to weed it out!

3S, 5W, 5P - The world is full of turmoil right now. The Middle East is a powder keg. Japan is still in shock, and many people have adopted an "every man/woman for themselves attitude. Unfortunately, the instability of the earth's crust actually supports life; one corner of the world or another has always had a madman causing rebellion. But at a personal level, what we put out comes back. If we are so caught up in the news we see that all we spew emotionally is anger and drama, that is what we… Continue

4W, 7C, 4S - People who are on a spiritual journey understand it takes work to stay on the path. Sometimes we forget that we need to pause, digest what's going on and rest before moving forward. The vibe today is to pause, just enjoy the day. Take the weekend and just enjoy where you life is right now. There IS something to enjoy -- just think about it.

Strength, 4W, High Priestess - Medical science repeatedly tells us that people with close friends live longer. In a dog-eat-dog society, it can be difficult to take that first step and make new friends. Today, the Tarot offers the advice of starting by going within, What are your passions? What do you know that will make the world a better place? After you discover those things, find like minded people. Let your shared vision develop the friendships.

8P, 2C, 3S - Some days it just doesn't go right. No matter what you do it just turns out wrong. I call those days "sitting on the cosmic whoopie cushion" - it's just a cosmic joke. So take the day off. No, you don't get to stay home, but you don't need to knock yourself out either. Realize that energy can be a bit unstable and flaky when change is happening. Tomorrow will be better.

7P, Empress, 6C - Whenever I talk or teach on the "Law of Attraction", I always have "manifesters" who just can't wait to share. But how many of them bothered to say "hey thanks, Universe - that was really cool." I also see the non-manifesters who made a new friend who had lost weight and gave them a whole new work wardrobe who is sitting there crying about "not manifesting any money". Remember, money is not the only commodity -- you can have a huge number of wonderful friends, so much love… Continue

7S, World, Devil - You fought hard, you won. Done. No, not really. Life is about growth - spiritual and mental. That is why life keeps changing - so you will grow, explore and discover. Never for one moment buy into the idea that "you have arrived". It will either get very stale and hell-like if you go through the motions everyday to maintain. Finally the Universe will say enough, and shove you in a new direction. That's when it's gonna hurt. Do something today to push your passion. Grow a bit,… Continue

6S, QC, 8C - Most humans use only 10 -15% of their brains. This means that there are a lot of clueless people wandering around out there! It also means that some of the hurts in our past were really unintentional. The nasty reply, the bad behavior probably came from a clueless person at a clueless moment. Now I'm not saying to go crawling back to that person for more bad treatment. What I'm saying is to take that moment at look at it as a gift; a chance to see how broken humanity really can be.… Continue

3C, Judgement, 4C - We are given daily directions on how to be perfect. White teeth, Bowflex in the den, the right car, and you can set the world on fire. The problem is, it just doesn't work. A lot of our power lies in the things we hate about ourselves. We take every opportunity to beat ourselves up because we are NOT PERFECT. Why not look at those things and see them as strengths? What are the emotions involved? Could we do something better with that energy?

10P, 7S, 4C - That's it - you've had it. You need to settle things with that snarky ________ (you fill in the blank). It that really going to solve anything? Is the other going to listen? Some people love train wrecks sooooo much that they will wreck themselves over and over just to see it happen (remember Gomez Adams?). If you're dealing with that type -- just walk away, you don't want to get any of it on you when the wreck happens...

8S, 2C, 3C - In many places in the world this morning, people are starting over. In some cases, someone is starting with nothing - everything swept out of their lives. For others, its a smaller step - deciding to smile more, or apply for the new job. Please, everyone, keep those people who are starting over in your thoughts and hearts. If you are someone starting over, there are a lot of warm fuzzies being sent your way.

KingC, 4C, 6C - No matter what happens, no matter how hard we try, someone always steps out of the shadows and tells us we could have done more. No one is more toxic than a "frienemy" that is there to kick us when we are down. Unfortunately, in a lot of cases, the frienemy is me, myself, and I. Don't buy into the hype that you can "fix everything" especially where emotions are concerned. Some people don't want to take a delivery from the klewtrain when it shows up. It ain't your fault.

QW, The Fool, Temperance - Disasters are part of life. The spilled coffee on the white shirt on the way to the job interview; the 8.9 quake in Japan. Now what? Have faith in yourself. Trust the Universe to bring about the highest and best for you and all concerned. And then act in a modified, balanced manner. You want to help with the worlds problems? Fine we can use all the help we can get. But sitting in front of the TV and watching the fear mongers ain't the way to do it.

9S, Strength, Magician - Nine of Swords sums up the situation - heartbreak. But now we have two powerful cards, Strength and the Magician. Yes, people are strong enough to make it through. The Magician talks of "the power to make it happen." Since I speak on a world-wide level, we all need to be "Magicians" and help any way we can. Head the call -- what can you do to help?

5C, QueenW, Star - Stuff happens. We think we don't have what it takes, and we become disappointed with life. If you focus on it, you're stuck. Look deep, what can you learn? This kind of learning is gaining wisdom. From ancient times, mankind has told the next generation it is one reason you have this life - is to gain wisdom and share it with the universe. The more wisdom, the more hope. What have you got to share today?
