I have been thinking about generosity.

Today I came home from work after nine hours in the sweltering heat, no lunch( and a little bit cranky) to find a card from my step-mother with a check for one hundred dollars enclosed. The funniest feeling came over me because yesterday I spent all my cash on my youngest daughter. I was a little worried but, I think a mom will do without just to make a child happy. I am in love with Saturdays!

Monday through Friday I get up at 4:00 A.M. and have to be at work no later than 5:30 A.M. AHHH....then along comes Saturday! I can sleep until I wake up on my own, I usually don't get dressed until I have to and, I catch up on what's been going on in the world.

When I was (much) younger, I used to be a "night person", those days are long gone! Now I must go to bed early and wake before the birds are up...I have been doing this for so long that I can't remember what it's like to see the…
