Tarot for the 21st Century!

The COTD from the Aquatic Tarot is the Ace of Pentacles.

I will be using Tarot-Your Everyday Guide by Janina Renee, to take a closer look at this Ace.

Ace cards initiate issues related to the qualities and energies of their suit.  For most people, the suit of Pentacles relates to material world concerns including money, prosperity, and security.  When the Ace of Pentacles comes up in an advice reading, you are urged to examine the ways your beliefs and actions affect your ability to gain and maintain the resources you need to get beyond survival issues, free yourself from a number of worries, enjoy material and sensory pleasures, facilitate your aesthetic expressions, and empower yourself to pursue your life's work.  (pg.91)

The above paragraph is only a small portion on the subject of this Ace, but it is an important one.  A lot of people have a difficult time dealing with money issues (me for one) and the strong influence(s) it holds over us.  It's a love-hate relationship at best, and an evil influence at it's worst.  LOL  See what I mean?  I'm not very objective on this subject. which probably explains why I'm perpetually broke.  Haha!

Renee goes on to say: Aces tend to give the go-ahead to whatever actions you are contemplating.  If you see the Ace of Pentacles as advising the investment of a certain type of energy, then you can see that its appearance responds to questions beyond those dealing strictly with material concerns.  Any type of commitment requires you to draw on your time, energy, and resources.
