8C, Sun, 4C - It's hard to leave a job.  Even if the new position is spectacular, there are concerns that you might not be a good fit, or that you have been promised unicorns an rainbows that don't exist!  Press on with your plans; make sure your focus is positive.  Nothing makes friends like confidence and excitement.  Focus on those, and the energy will follow.
