Tarot for the 21st Century!
Well, this has been my first week of testing out the Legacy of the Divine to see how we get along. So far the results have been both illuminating and inspiring.
And I just did a spread for myself this morning that was truly helpful. I call it the "Need to Know Basis" Spread. I was thinking about all the knowledge I have now and wondering what's useful to me at this moment; and the things I "used to know" but have moved to the back of my conscious mind and no longer access that often; and what I will need to know in the future. So it's like a Past-Present-Future Spread using 6 cards - 1st line is Used to Know-Know Now-Need to Know and the 2nd line is a "basis" card for each above position to tell you what the basis of your need of that knowledge is. I like to draw the present position first, then past position-then future position so the present is between the past and the future.
So it's 2--1--3
5--4--6
Let me know if you try this spread and what you think. I will be playing with it some more for sure myself.

Comment by Dax Carlisle on May 21, 2011 at 6:01pm I always carry a copy of both the Waite/Smith deck and the Legacy deck where ever I go. You never know when you might need to do an impromptu reading!
When I sue other decks, I often find myself "translating" the images into Waite/Smith. The Legacy deck was the first deck I found myself also using elements from the Legacy images as well.
Like Koneta said, "I love, love, love that deck!" ;o)
Comment by Koneta Bailey on May 21, 2011 at 5:51pm I love, love, love, that deck. Maybe I can find some time this weekend and try out this spread too, looks cool!
