Wow Dax! I had to read this a couple of times before I got it lol. So, to make sure that I understand. As a paid member, the Endorsed Readers Program comes as a part of the membership?

 

The ERP is just calling me!!!! Lol, this is a lot of great changes. I'm so glad I joined when I did.

Hey Edward! Glad you joined the FB Group ...I approved you, you're in!

Sorry that it was a bit confusing Latifah, and anyone else out there who might be lost as well....  That's why I wrote this blog post now, so people would start to get a picture of where we are going, even though some of the changes won't actually happen for a while ....we are "easing" into the changes. It's going to be great for everyone though!

You got it right, general membership to the Guild is now free once again, as it was for the first two years we had the website - and is being moved to Facebook. The Professional Membership will be an annual premium membership that includes all the benefits we have been giving our members, including the Endorsed Readers Program (ERP), plus new classes for the Professional Tarot Reader, new services, new benefits ...not available anywhere else.

We have our NEW Professional Membership at an introductory rate of only $37 for a FULL year of classes, benefits & services....... If you are not already a paid member, grab the Pro Membership at $37 while ti lasts! If you ARE a current Paid member, GREAT NEWS! You are "grandfathered-in" as a Pro Member RIGHT NOW! You can apply for the ERP and avail yourself of all the benefits and services....

LOL, One more question. What is the pro membership going to cost those of us that are already Endorsed Readers when it is time to renew our membership?

Yes Jean (Mimiraj), we are going to be moving the pages for each Endorsed Reader to the new website. If you think about it, the "Tarot Guild" is not aimed to our Clients, but rather to the Tarot enthusiast, student, and professional. So it makes sense to have a different website aimed AT the end user of our services.

It won't have all the "stuff" we have here they aren't interested in - just content aimed at the Client, information, the radio shows, the Reading Room, and where we will offer readings, other services and products.

Remember, this will be a "process", nothing that's going to happen over night. We have to build the new website before anything happens, so don't worry, the current pages aren't going away yet. Also, because we don't even know what the new website will look like, what will be involved, etc., I can't answer a lot of the questions about that or how this is all going to work. I just wanted to give everyone a "heads up" to be ready for the changes.

This will be awesome though. General members will be able to join the Guild for free, simply by joining the Tarot Guild Facebook Group : www.facebook.com/groups/tarotguild They will get the classes already in archive for free, plus new "general" classes will be free.

They also have the option to become a Pro Member and get all the services, benefits, special classes for their business, advanced classes, become a Tarot Guild Endorsed Reader, inclusion in our Tarot Anthology Book, radio appearances and promotion, membership in our private ER Networking Group & cross-promotion group on Facebook, etc...

We plan on packing a LOT of value into the Professional Membership. The introductory annual fee is $37. I am already being told by the Staff that it's too low, so that will most likely go up - it is the "introductory" rate after all. I actually had a member today ask me if that was monthly! When I told him it was for a year, he said he was shocked and would have paid $37 a month for all these classes, benefits and services! ;o)

Current paid members/ERs are "grand-fathered in" - they are now officially Professional Members - no extra fees! Depending on what the regular Pro Membership fee is next year, when members renew, we will have to see what special rate we can offer those who have been with us a long time, like you Jean - In fact, there may NOT be a renewal at all - that has always been part of the "plan":

The main purpose of the Pro Membership (and the Guild itself) is to help our professional members/ERs start or expand their Tarot business, get clients/more clients, be successful and SELL Readings. If they are successful and selling readings as an ER, through the Guild/PSIarts.com, then the Guild is making a small percentage as well. So when our Pro Members' revenues get to a certain amount, they won't have to pay for their Pro Membership anymore ....this only makes sense.
