Tarot Translation Group - Week Two

Here we go folks...week 2 and I am so excited to be a part of this.

Here is the question:

The Question:

My spouse and I seem to be on different energy cycles lately; my energy is up, when his is down and vice versa. It’s making both of us irritable. In what ways can we work through these ups and downs together?

Using the Shadowscapes Tarot I pulled:  The Chariot, The Five of Cups (RX), Nine of Pentacles

My take is that life is busy for the two of you, you seem to be always on the move. Because the Chariot is ruled by Cancer, the sign for family, I am getting the sense that a good deal of the activity deals with family related things. But with that said, although you have an active family life, the five of Cups tells me that there isn't a lot of time left for the intimacy that keeps couples going strong. When one of you is ready for the intimacy, the other is tired and the lack thereof is creating the tension and irritability. However, the nine of Pentacles is giving me the sense of the need to schedule dates. It doesn't have to be the traditional "date" night however, I am getting the sense of the need for some creativity to it that will bring the you two together. Maybe some baths with soft music playing, or going to the park and swinging on the swings together. Something that creates excitement when you think of having alone time together. I also get the sense of missing the small things also, so some spontaneous hugs and kisses will work wonders too. The little things and little enjoyments of each other will go far to bridge the gap between times when you can schedule alone time and let each other know that you still love and appreciate each other.
