The Tower - a life experience.

Earlier this week, I was meditating, as I do before I start work.  As a part of that meditation, I attune with the Lady and the Lord. I imagine myself leaping and falling into Their hands. It is an image that I got from the Tower card in the Ludy Lescot deck.

But as I began to leap, I saw myself traveling through my Tower. My foundation was solid, it was the upper floors that were in trouble. And what I realized, or the realization that was sent to me, is that a Tower experience doesn't have to be negative at all!

My striving to be a better more fulfilled person neccesitates me walking through my Tower from time to time. That my growth depends upon me taking stock and getting rid of the things that no longer work for me. And that sometimes, that leap of faith is necessary. Often this card is depicted with like the people are being thrown out of the Tower, but my mediation made me see that differently. I choose everyday to take that leap of faith, to guide me toward my highest good and to help me recognize the many varied blessings that I get each and everyday. There is really nothing earth shattering in that, is there?

Yes, there is. Living in a more aware state means that for me, I am living an examined life as Socrates would say. I am more fulfilled and I am able to give more to those around me. I am not perfect, but I do welcome each and every Tower experience now. I will no longer see this card in it's negative connotations, which will allow me to empower my clients to do the same.

Yeah, earlier this week I had a Tower experience and it affirmed my blessings and my gifts. Not bad...not bad at all.
