Tarot for the 21st Century!

To Ask Or Not To Ask....That is the Question!

I use to lay out the Tarot cards in front of my clients without asking them what they were seeking. I have been studying the Tarot, for over 20yrs. and this practice has always worked for me, and my clients always have been happy with the results....However, just recently I started asking the question, what are you seeking before I laid the cards, and I found that the clarity I receive from the cards and the answers are so much clearer, which gives me the opportunity to ask further questions and it also ensures the client gets all the information he or she needs during his or her session as they continue on their journey from that point on until the next time we meet. What do you think, anybody?

Hi Remi,
I see what you are saying as well. I just found that once I started asking what my client was seeking, (For Me), I found more clairty in the cards which allowed me to give a more indepth consultation. But you're right as well, do what ever works for you, there is no right or wrong way!
Thanks for the feedback...Many Blessings

Use whatever works the best for you.. really. I love it when people ask the question because I don't want to work so hard and I can give more information. But my general readings are pretty accurate too. You can always ask to work with the sitter's guides and have them bring fort the information that they need. That also has made my readings more accurate.

Thanks John, for your comment. I agree with you. I always felt that at some level that I was giving my clients the right information however, by asking questions and delving deeper, I found that it clarified what the client really came to see me for....go figure! I will always ask questions from now on because I think it's only fair to my client.
Many Blessings,

Dear Crystal:
Congratulations. You seem to have discovered a useful improvement for your readings.
There is something quite impressive when a reader lays some cards and starts talking, telling the questioner what he or she is there for and needs to know. On the other hand, people are often quite overawed by the Tarot and can agree with the reader just because they don't want to disagree or feel foolish.
I prefer to know the question or questions - that way I can judge if a card shows what the person is supposed to do, or is supposed to STOP doing.
Yours,
John Ballantrae
