Tarot for the 21st Century!
As predicted on last week’s “Hollywood Insider Show” on Tarot Today Radio, “New Year’s Eve” was the big box office winner last weekend! Dax and I are on a roll! Woo-hoo... and, as we predicted, it was one of the lowest earning weekends at the box office overall.
But, I’m predicting that things will liven up this weekend when two successful franchises hit the big screen.
“Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked” is sure to make the little ones squeal with delight as those loveable fuzzy rascals pull all kinds of hi-jinks in this live-action adventure. Here’s what Jason Lee, who plays Dave, their “father,” had to say about their enduring appeal with younger audience members:

And, you might get a kick out of seeing “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows.” Joining Robert Downey Jr (Sherlock) and Jude Law (Watson) this time around is Noomi Rapace (from the original “Dragon Tattoo” movies). She plays a gypsy tarot card reader with awesome fighting skills! Watch for her in the video I posted below and let me know in the comments section if you recognize the tarot deck she uses.
Finally, there's a real gem for cinephiles opening in this weekend in limited release, “Corman’s World,” a documentary about low-budget master Roger Corman. The movie is fascinating as it features interviews with Jack Nicholson, Martin Scorsese and other A-listers whose illustrious careers began, surprisingly, working for Roger Corman. I had a chance to sit down with Corman and ask him how it all came to be. Click on the track below to hear what he had to say.
Tune in to “The Hollywood Insider Show” on Tarot Today Radio tonight at 6PM PST to hear about these movies and more. Call in to get a free mini-reading from Dax and I.
