Anger can make big changes happen.

Anger for me is the Death card; this probably isn't how you think of card 13 in Tarot.

It’s something old leaving - and something new moving into your life.  Spiritual Transformation…making space for something new.

With every beginning there had to be an ending…anger usually brings about change of some kind.  You might as well know that I’m not talking about the kind of anger you get when someone bumps your car or teases you a bit…those things I would consider annoying.

I’m talking about deep, smoldering anger that comes from the pit of your soul-like when you've been betrayed.

Every time you settle for the unacceptable you suffer a small death. - Stephen C. Paul

Think of it this way:  when we’re angry it’s usually because we’re angry at ourselves-for leaving ourselves open, for being taken advantage of, or maybe just because we gave the “source” of our anger enough energy to burn red hot.  What anger is telling you is that something needs to change.  Dig below the surface and you will probably see that there was something that you could have handled differently.  I’m not talking about “in the heat of the moment”, I mean when you've had a chance to really think about things…identify the source of this anger.

“If your life finished today, would you be happy with your achievements?”  "You only get one life: really live it." From Kat Black LWB: Touchstone Tarot

Mary, this is good.  I learned in some of my classes that every time we give in to do something that is a NO for us just to please someone else, a part of us dies.  I'm not talking about a big favor, but constantly doing lots of things that we really don't want to do.  I had an experience about this many years ago when some one was always after me to drive them to the doctor's, drive them to the hair dresser, do errands for them.  It was making me sick.  I was simmering inside for many reasons.  When I finally got the courage up to say NO, they found someone else to do it. Of course they were mad at me and talked about me behind my back but I was free and it felt a lot better.
