Hi Jean, you are lucky I have seen them going for upwards of $200.00. There are very few of them, no idea of actual numbers, but I think in the 1000-1500 range.  The second edition is a bit larger and the book is colour coded there were 3,000 of those printed.  The app is now at the publishers, so however long it takes to get it through the system it will probably be the new year for sure. The workbook/journal is in the final editing stages and I am looking into packaging and shipping.  I am going to include, for the first 100 orders, an original watercolour that comes from the art therapy projects. I am doing examples to go into the workbook, so those will be the ones that go with the first 100 orders.  I am wanting to make this a beautiful product that people will love to use, hold and handle.  The Pearls of Wisdom isn't a clone of other decks, it has its own symbolism and interpretation of the Tarot, I followed traditional tarot structure, but they came through me of their own free will.

I hope the decks bring you new insights and expand your symbolism vocabulary to take into other decks. I use the language of flowers throughout my deck, and those symbols are in so many other decks.  I also used Runes in my deck and that is in the workbook as well.

Please email me at Roxiartwork@gmail.com and put notification list in the subject line. That way you will know the minute and maybe even a few weeks before the products come available.

Thank you so much for your interest in my deck. It has been an 11 year journey for me, so far, and I find that it just keeps getting better and better, and so is my life. Cheers Roxi

Hi,

Just wanted to let you know I was very excited to find a reasonably priced first edition of your deck. I just love them, needless to say my daughter also fell in love with them. Well she purchased two of your second edition, one for her and one for me, We are both awaiting for your app. and workbook to be available. I normally use the Robin Wood Tarot deck but feel that it will soon be sharing my time with the Pears of Wisdom Tarot.

Blessings

Jean/Mimiraj

Sorry I have been AWOL for so long, but I have been really busy writing, editing, working on workbook/journal, web page I pod App and show.  Here are a few links to catch everyone up. First the new web page, which features the Pearls of Wisdom and my other art work series.  www.roxiartwork.com there are some paintings for sale, and we will have prints and cards available soon.

My art show, which is the first time I am showing my tarot paintings, starts tomorrow, with an opening Friday night. Kristi The Wheel of Fortune will belly dance, and I will post pics taken by my son and grandson. Check out this wonderful full page article from the newspaper on the show:

http://www.bclocalnews.com/okanagan_similkameen/vernonmorningstar/entertainment/131048518.html have a look and a read about the show and deck.

I am also doing a catalogue for the show with an interview with James Rickleff, these will be for sale later on my site, once I get paypal up and running etc.

Enjoy the web sites, the workbook Journal is almost done, and the App is almost ready for uploading to the publisher.  This has been a huge amount of work, I hope all you tarot folks will appreciate it and get your copies of the app and workbook.  If you want to be notified when they come out, email me at RoxiArtWork@gmail.com and put notification list in the subject line. Hi Roxi!  Enjoyed your show.  I'm always in awe of artists - and have a special love for tarot artists who are able to channel aspects of these 78 magical cards.

I lived in Cowtown for 3 years while I went to U of C. Jobs, at the time, meant I had to choose from rural Alberta or Rural BC. having grown up in Vancouver, and my hubby in Grand Forks, rural BC won out and we have lived in the Okanagan for over 30 years. It is a beautiful place to live.  I am having a show of my majors in the Armstrong gallery next October.

Nice to connect, I love the TG and other sites like this for connecting with other "taroists"

Roxi thank you so much!  LOL That's too funny, you starting with the Ace too.  Must be a Candian thing?  Yes, right now we're living in Alberta, and I am so jealous of where you live.  I've been in Canada for the majority of my adult life, and love BC.  I would dearly love to live somewhere in that province.  And I am totally looking forward to your show.  If I don't get a chance to listen, cause work tends to be a pain, I will definitely catch it in the archives.  It is my pleasure to meet you.  Good luck!

I am involved with a wonderful dance studio, I take an advanced tap class. I started tap when I was five and danced on the stage of the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver, at that young age. I am sure you can see the influence of stage sets and props in my deck. This year at the dance school I go to, the theme is The Elements. We have some very cool sets and will use projections as well. I have designed and created the sets for the Matinee kiddie show "Under the Sea" I have made a paper mache' mermaid, an octopus sitting on a treasure chest, fish, crabs, sea shells, a jelly fish, shark, turtle and giant squid. They will be 3D sets, my son is photographing them, so I will post some images after the show. I still have to make a sunken ship, though I have the mermaid prow of the boat already done. I love the stage, and getting back into dance has definitely been both art and dance therapy for me. I have had the best year in many many years this year, and I have lost 40 lbs too boot. I feel so much stronger and happier.

I like the idea of doing a reading together. Most of the readings I have done are for people I know. I have found them to be amazingly accurate, but I knew the situations. I haven't done any "stranger" readings. I will go with skype, my other phone is an old land line and my hand held makes weird noises..

I have been asked to write an article for Tarosophy International Magazine, so I am working on that, and I am very excited! The will do a review as well.

I will see you in your colour class, I am looking forward to it. This web site is exactly what I was looking for, so thanks to you and Dax for all your hard work. I can't wait to get the web page up and running. My printer is excited to work with me on the journal too. Things are looking up.
Cheers

Thank you so much! It was a labour of love. If you check in the Bibliography of the booklet you will see your name & book, which helped be greatly in my research. So thank you!

Ok maybe Skype will be easier on my ears with a head set. holding the phone for 2 hours is a little hard on the ear and hands. I would like to take the time to listen to some of your other interviews to see what is involved in a live reading to see if I feel comfortable with that. I am looking forward to taking your classes with colour symbolism, I have studied colour a lot through my art work. And your workshop on the elements. My dance recital is called The Elements this year, I am tap dancing in the air section, "straighten up and fly right". It is going to be very cool. I will let you know in plenty of time about the readings.
Thanks again for the offer to get my deck out there and heard.
Cheers

Thanks for your comments. The first edition is smaller with a white border and shiny coating. the 2nd edition is larger with a matt coating and and dark blue border. First editions are selling for around $150.00 on Ebay, not many of them around. You can still get the second edition. The deck is available through the Guild store. Enjoy. Cheers Roxi

Hi Roxi,

Thanks for the postings of your cards. They're very animated in color and also in detail. What differs in your decks from the 1st and 2nd edition?

Sundays in July sound fine. Dax already asked me so that would be wonderful. I was interviewed by Rose Red and Anastasia, it was great.

I am working on a journal/workbook just getting started. I found all my notes and research, so I am going to go through it all and put it into a workbook/journal format. I am sure it will take me some time, but I think I will break it up into sections starting with the Majors and go through it linearly this time. I am sure I will gain some new insights and hope to make it easier for newbies to understand my deck.

The pro subscription sounds awesome. Having such a small publisher, it seems to be a good way to promote my deck out there. I am looking forward to chatting with you and all the folks here. Cheers. Roxi
