Thank you for your generous "hello". I am excited to be a part of the group as I have never really had the chance to be around other tarot enthusiasts and professionals. Have a wonderful New Year. Jill
Thanks for making me feel welcome! I am here to rebuild my connection with the Tarot. I had learnt it and not practiced it for over a year. But some things have been happening recently that are literally drawing me towards the tarot cards. I guess this new year is going to be very spiritually enlightening for me indeed!

Hello Anna,
I really felt the warm and friendly atmosphere of the Guild from the very first moment I stepped in. It is my pleasure and honor to be a member of this community among so important people sharing knowledge, experience and ideas. Thank you for your advice, it really helps a novice like me, I will make good use for sure.
Anna, thank you for the welcome! I'm working on editing my first novel! I used the Mystic Faerie Tarot to outline it and develop the characters.I'm looking for folks to critique the second draft. If you are patient and so inclined, I'd add you to the list. It's a fantasy novel told in the first person. Very much a hero's journey type of novel. If you're interested, let me know and PM me your email.
Although I don't presently own a deck of the "Transparent Tarot" by Emily Carding (available on Amazon) it is very popular deck and a unique concept.
I can't WAIT to see your card listing! OMG, a math-head? God Bless you! If you, my hubby and Martin Le could get together you'd probably have a ball discussing all the mathematical possibilities that make my head spin!!!
Have you seen the post (I believe it's in the Masters Lounge) concerning what Carl Jung said about the Tarot having a positive effect upon stroke victims? It was posted by one of our members "across the pond" in Britain (first name David) who is presently conducting some research in that area? Bonnie Cehovet and I are very interested in his progress, and you may be to!!
In addition to the computer based ideas for disseminating tarot wisdom, perhaps there is a twenty-first adaptation of tarot, perhaps based on the visions of authors such as William Gibson, Bruce Sterling, Neal Stephenson, Stephen Hawking and others. I have seen a deck which is made of transparent plastic, with transparent coloring, black lines and patterns which allow them to be overlaid, and create new patterns with each overlay. Depending on the number of cards in the deck, and the size of the reading, the number of permutations become astronomical. Yes, I'm a math-head too. One of my favorite conceptual math topics is the I Ching, the text I have has a prefatory note written by Carl Jung.
So, I posted my current deck thought in the deck discussion forum, and when i get my draft complete, I will post the card listing.
Again, I deeply appreciate the welcome. I have sought a place like this for a long time, and I believe in contributing as much to a place as much as I get from it.
