Good morning John. Thank you for all your hard work for the Tarot community. I love your videos. I was listening to one last night while my husband was home. He said, "Oh an Irishman." I said with a hearty laugh, "No, laddy, a Scotsman!" I hail from the Wallace clan on my father's side. My mother was Irish. My husband is Irish as well, from both his parents.
Thanks for your kind words. The Celtic Cross book will soon be finished and ready for download. I transcribed the contents of several radio shows and added a lot more information to make it a more substantial read. When you're talking, you can ramble on and no one seems to mind, but it's different with the written word. I put the first part here: www,johnballantrae.com/cc_book/index.html if you'd like to have a read and/or make a comment.
I would be interested in hearing your opinion of the Queen of Pentacles blog in the Forum section that I wrote. It was my interpration of her in basic form, plus some spread examples. It's on the main page in the Forum.
I suppose we are always multitasking. One side of the other of the brain doesn't really operate solo.
I'm moving this to your page, as I was afraid it might lead Paul's postings off topic.
While I understand your point on brainstorming, my response was, hmmm that's the left brain trying to hold on *grin*. Especially in groups, a lot of fast information and then sorting through it ideas works very well in those ways.
As to swords with earth....do you choose that for the metal/oriental aspect? If so, do you consider them things created when you are well grounded (metal "found" in the ground) or the beginning of water/tears as metal creates water? I can seee where swords would work very well way also.
Wow John, That was excelllent. You are a wonderful reader and have given so much information in just 3 cards. I too have done the three card reading and happen to love it. I would like to try your approach as well. Very well said..
Yes, that was my old URL.
I don't remember saying that, but it sounds like the kind of thing I would have said.
The "Bro" might have been someone O'Neill?
The Tarot Guild seems like a pretty good place, and I'm looking forward to reading posts and comments from all members.
I do recall one conversation with you on TarotL where you suggested that I do a Tarot reading to find out what a particular card should mean to me. I put that suggestion and the reading I did as a result in my book, "KnightHawk's Tarot Readings" and in "Tarot Tells the Tale."
